Daily management of your resources i.e. Staff, Equipment, FSL queries, Leading, motivating of your team.
Performance Management - Monitor staff performance and provide support and assistance where/when required.
Ensure the client specific KPi’s are met at all times on all shipments.
Assisting Customer Care Location Teams, in pro-actively dealing with queries before they get escalated.
Hold meetings/briefings with staff and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing for smooth changeovers, implementation etc.
With the assistance of Customer Care Location Teams, review all process flows and WI quarterly. Liaising with Customers (Internal and external)- Serves as the point of contact for shipment enquiries with regards to indent monitoring.
Customer Care and Satisfaction: Combine your operational know how and customer service skills along with your business acumen to pro-actively address and resolve customer requirement leaving the customer (Internal and external) with a rewarding customer experience
Shipment Management: Qualification and processing of customer orders into the operational execution process, and management of end-to-end process with regular interaction with international office, suppliers, service provider and to provide pro-active updates to the customer on a regular basis
Minimum requirements:
Minimum 5 years relevant freight forwarding MANAGEMENT experience in Sea freight
You have up to Min 5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding and Clearing Sea Logistics
Solid Incoterms and Customs knowledge in the South African environment,
Must have good computer skills
Excellent Communication Skills, Persuasive speaking, empathy, adaptability. You have decision making & problem-solving skills
You have to be a self-starter, self-disciplined, self-motivated and dependable to achieve and conclude your required daily task
You have analytical, organizational, and excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
You must be able to (Multitask) plan, prioritise and execute in a high-pressure, fast changing and demanding environment.
You have good time management skills and the ability to lead your team to achieve a common goal
You can use positive language and to have clear communication, you speak English and Local language
