Duties:
Opening, drawing and maintaining of legal files
General admin
Coordinate the legal claim admin process
Compile, types and collate relevant documentation pertaining to all legal matters
Compiles reports
Liaise with Internal Departments
Prepares letters for communication and correspondence
Compile Section 143 & 142A applications for certification award and issuing of Execution
Assist telephonic and walk in clients with queries on Legal matters
Appointing Tracing Agents
Transunion searches
Arranging advertisement of Auctions in Newspapers
Assist members with completion of contingency claim forms
Relief Reception
Debt collection
Process underpayments
Excellent verbal & written communication
Excellent filing skills
Ability to withstand pressure & meet deadlines & targets
Ability to work independently and use initiative along with problem solving abilities
Ability to build strong effective relationships
A good team player
Meticulous & attention to detail
Grade 12
1 yr. exp in legal environment
Paralegal or other legal related qualification
Above average typing skills
Advanced MS Word
Advanced administration skills
