Strong Experienced Accountant:
• B. Com Accounting Degree
• Minimum 5 Years’ Exp
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
• Acc Pac exp.
Job Description and responsibilities:
• Overview and review of all internal controls on a periodic basis.
• General Ledger maintenance
• Daily liaison and supervising staff of Financial Department.
• Ensure Financial Department’s timeous processing of their daily tasks
• Assist Finance Department staff and provide training where needed.
• Fixed Asset Register maintenance.
• Creditors & Debtors
• Reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts.
• Preparing of monthly management accounts.
• Providing monthly management accounts per Branch and company as a whole.
• Liaise with external auditors for annual audits and other financial statement and statutory requirements
• Review of key financial ratios (GP %, return on Asset)
• Develop and implement 2 weekly cash flow forecasts, quarterly budgets and forecasts.
• Updating the insurance timeously and assisting with insurance claims.
• Assisting all Departments with Ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis.
