Job Summary

Overall Purpose of The Job Manage and oversee all aspects of a small Logistics business unit (mainly road and projects) within an International Freight Forwarding business, including assisting and internally selling to the companies other departments to assist the company to remain competitive in last mile logistics while assisting other managers to achieve their road objectives. Minimum requirements: • 3 Years experience in a similar role • Strong roadfreight brokerage background, suppliers, buying/selling of loads • Knowledge of customs requirements for bond, transit and road cargoes • Knowledge of principles of Warehousing (storage), Air and Ocean Forwarding • Knowledge of principles port operations, project cargo • Knowledge of cargo types, packing types, cargo handling, lashing, outsized, Hazchem, reefer, high value (escorts), etc • Knowledge of principles of Marine Insurance, GIT, risk Advantage: • Cargowise knowledge • Direct experience in international freight forwarding business Email your cv to gcastalent7@gmail.com
