Purpose of Position:
Complement Recruitment are recruiting for an External Technical Sales Engineer for a permanent position based in the East Rand, Johannesburg, Gauteng. Core duties and functions are to generate new business clientele in the automation systems industry and provide technical sales & field service support to clients, emphasizing long-term relationships. Selling the entire product & portfolio range to new and existing clients, targeting outreach and marketing as well as providing quotes on demand within the Industrial, Manufacturing, Automotive and Mining industries.
Minimum Requirements:
• 3-5 years External Sales Experience in a similar Technical Niche industry (Industrial, Mechanical, Automotive)
• Based within the East Rand areas,
• Valid Code B driver’s license; Local travelling
• Computer Literate: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint
• Technical aptitude & technical sales skills in turnkey solution selling
• Product range includes linear bearing guides, actuators, ball spline, couplings, telescopic & linear rails & guides, motor feedback systems, rotary motion & related automation products.
