Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the Silwerkruin facilities, the implementation of the business strategies and the day-to-day functioning of all Silwerkruin operations to ensure that all residents are provided with the highest level of care. The successful candidate will report to the Governing Body
Responsibilities:
- Executing overall strategy in order to ensure the sustainability of Silwerkruin
- Professional liaison with all relevant stakeholders, including the Department of Health, Department of Social Development and the ACVV
- Operational management of Silwerkruin i.e. patient care, compliance, fundraising, general household, personnel management and licencing
- Leadership and management of a large personnel corpse
- Oversee and manage all applications, placements and related matters
- Networking and building of relationships
- Reporting to the Governing Body
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Proven knowledge and experience in management at a similar facility
- Practical knowledge and experience regarding fundraising, finance, HR and operational management
- Experience in liaison/negotiation with stakeholders
- Knowledge and understanding of the laws and regulations which govern the industry
- Strong ethical value system
- Well-developed emotional intelligence with specific reference to empathy, resilience, adaptability and service orientation
A market-related remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, based on experience, skills and competencies.
