Job Summary
Role tasks:
- Development and maintenance on platform/application
- Understand the business requirements
- Review and present proposed system solution to IT
Project Manager / Leader and User Management or
System owner - Develop systems solutions in line with quality and
delivery requirements - ABAP debugging is beneficial (Workbench related
knowledge of new development/enhancements) - Setting up the organization structure of Materials
Management - Preparation of testing documents and performing internal
testing - Preparation of Master Data templates for various objects
like Material Master, Vendor Master, etc. - Integration testing with other modules
- Understand interfaces, IDOC, and RFC's processing
- Preparing the cut over strategy for MM objects
- Preparing User manuals and conducting training to
business process owners - Go-live preparation and post-Go-live support
- Interaction with clients through meetings, calls, and
emails - Preparation of system/technical documentation (as per
ISO standards) - Meet with end-users and gather requirements
- Facilitate daily stand-ups
- Ability and willingness to coach and give training to colleagues and users when required
- User training
Technical / Functional skills:
- SAP ABAP workbench
- SAP modules (MM, HU, SD)
- SAP Workflow
- SAP IDOCs Interfaces
- SAP BSP (with HTML & SAP)
Soft Skills:
- Problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work interdependently as well as independently and to submit deliverables on time and with excellent
quality
