Job Summary

Urgently seeking DevOps Engineer with IT Degree, 4 years development in C# and PHP. Experience with cloud services Azure and AWS. 2 years’ experience building IT infrastructure and environments. Experience with software testing. Position based in Kirstenhof, Cape Town

Requirements:

BSc in Computer Science or equivalent IT degree
Solutions architect certification a bonus
4yrs in a software development role
2yrs building IT infrastructure and environments
Experience with cloud services
Knowledge and interest in computer systems and the latest technologies
Analytical mind
Ability to collaborate in a highly agile environment

Duties:

Automate software testing and deployments
Set up developer environment tools that support versioning and shared repositories
Setup/deploy server infrastructure
Maintain and scale IT systems
Automate the deployment of fully functional services to the live environment
Automate the upscaling or downscaling of cloud server resources in response to demand of our service
Support and Troubleshooting
Monitor system performance and make improvements
Generate reports on system performance for management
