Salary: Negotiable DOE ? Single Accommodation Provided Kendrick Recruitment is currently hiring an Assistant Wildlife / Reserve Manager for a diverse wildlife and agricultural operation. This exciting role offers exposure to game breeding, conservation management, hunting safaris, and eco-tourism activities, making it ideal for a passionate conservation professional looking to grow their career within a dynamic reserve environment. The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day management of wildlife operations while supporting conservation initiatives, tourism activities, and reserve administration. Requirements: ✔ Diploma in Nature Conservation, Wildlife Management, or similar qualification ✔ 2–5 years’ experience in wildlife management, conservation, game breeding, or related fields ✔ Valid EB Driver’s Licence (Code 08) ✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and wildlife/reserve management software ✔ Experience in photography, videography, and social media platforms advantageous ✔ Strong leadership and teamwork abilities ✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ✔ Report writing and administrative skills ✔ Physically fit and capable of working in a demanding outdoor environment ✔ High levels of responsibility, accountability, and professionalism ✔ No criminal record ✔ Ability to work long hours, weekends, and public holidays when required ✔ Comfortable living and working in an isolated rural environment Key Responsibilities: • Assist with wildlife management and conservation programmes • Support game breeding operations and monitoring activities • Assist with hunting safari coordination and operational support • Contribute to eco-tourism and guest experience initiatives • Monitor wildlife populations and reserve activities • Assist with reserve administration and reporting requirements • Support photography, videography, and social media content creation • Ensure compliance with conservation and operational policies • Assist with staff supervision and daily operational management • Participate in habitat management and reserve maintenance projects Candidate Profile: • Passionate about conservation and wildlife management • Hands-on, proactive, and willing to learn • Strong leader with a positive attitude and team-focused approach • Adaptable and resilient in remote environments • Organised, responsible, and detail-oriented • Committed to sustainable wildlife management practices Please note that only suitable candidates will be contacted.
