Original Equipment Manufacturer of Bearings, Seals, and Power Transmission solutions has a vacancy for a Product Manager. The purpose of the role is to ensure growth and sales for the Condition Monitoring Platform. a Proven track record in project management, sales and business development, as well as a formal qualification in electronic/mechatronic/electrical/mechanical engineering and condition monitoring and systems integration required. Based in Gauteng (East Rand).

Requirements:

• A formal Mechanical, Mechatronic or Electrical Engineering Qualification (minimum)
• Project Management degree/diploma/certificate or PMP (desirable)
• A formal condition monitoring qualification (desirable)
• A formal Systems integration qualification (desirable)
• Product Knowledge of Conditioning Monitoring Systems
• Able to design, develop and implement integrated reliability solutions
• Reliability integration and set up experience
• Knowledge of Vibration Analysis of Industrial Equipment
• Proven track record and experience in project management/ sales management/ business development
• Strong analytical, planning and negotiation skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Duties:

• Define and analyse business opportunities and optimize our go-to-market approach.
• Ensure progress on strategic programs through contribution to and execution of defined projects
• Drive development and implementation of CoMo business
• Make technical evaluations of incoming requests for quotations from bidders and checks same for completeness of scope and compliance
• Initial assessment of existing designs and system layouts
• Provide technical assistance and recommendations to key customers and Distribution network
• Design and development of new Systems ensuring incorporation into existing operational systems.
• Offer costing and on-time submission of offers to Distributors and Direct Accounts
• Where necessary, expediting of project offerings to ensure deliveries are met
• Coordinating with all required departments to ensure customer needs are met while keeping the business profitable
• Visits to key customers and Distributors in order to sell CoMo solutions
• On-site inspections and commissioning
• Collaborate with local and global Sales, Technical Support and Manufacturing teams to develop business opportunities
• Achieve agreed sales growth, cost, cash and profit targets
• Technical support on CoMo product range and installations
