The Sales Consultant will be responsible for achieving pre-determined sales targets monthly.
To act as an ambassador for Ignite Fitness.
Promote Ignite Fitness Brand and Product in the marketplace surrounding the club. In so doing, encouraging prospective clients to visit the club and ultimately take out a membership so they may achieve their health and fitness goals.
To therefore be responsible both for maintaining and increasing the overall satisfaction for all Ignite Fitness prospective and current members.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve predetermined sales targets monthly. The minimum sales required to be achieved by a Sales Consultant is worked out as an equal share of the allocated monthly club budget or minimum monthly sales achievement of 40 sales.
Be responsible for selling all types and categories of membership dependent upon the customer’s needs as well as focusing on the selling of corporate memberships within the immediate locality of the club.
Plan sales generating activities on the Daily Sales Planning Sheets provided by Ignite Fitness. Such activities would be new lead generation activities and promotions, appointment setting call drives, club tours, and presentations. Such planning should be done to achieve the minimum daily sales requirements required based on the SC’s current conversion ratios.
Maintain implementation of the activities set out in the daily plan. Examples of such activities are as follows but not limited to:
Telephone contact e.g. web lead follow ups, new prospect follow ups, cold calling, retention and service calling (30-day call-backs), incoming enquiry handling and calls to ex-members on a regular daily basis.
B2C New Lead Generation – Cold canvassing, flyer drops, Floor Walks, Group Activities
B2B – Contacting corporate businesses and community groups where we can find mutually beneficial opportunities and benefit in working together.
Support and work with the marketing strategies and initiatives throughout the club; whilst liaising with all other departments (particularly operations and fitness) to integrate the selling process with the customer/member.
Ensure that all targets, forecasts, and goals set for activity levels are reached to achieve the required number of membership sales.
Tour prospective members around the club using the sales tools, processes, and conversations as outlined by Ignite Fitness. Ask questions to understand the prospect member’s needs, listen to their needs and tour them around the club and when doing so, provide the knowledge they need to make confident buying decision. As an adviser of memberships for Ignite Fitness, provide clear and helpful direction for our new members to take full advantage of the benefits a membership at Ignite Fitness has to offer them.
Monitor and track all personal sales results and activity levels on a regular daily basis, using the correct procedure and systems.
Be responsible for personal time management that in turn ensures that the sales effort is always manned at the correct levels. Weekend work, late hours may be required to perform to the required standards and to achieve an above budget performance for the number of membership sales.
Be accountable for the correct completion of all membership paperwork and liase closely with all areas of Administration to ensure membership application procedures are adhered to.
Be accountable in generating leads that are qualified to join the gym and explaining clearly the contractual and payment obligations to the member when joining the gym.
