Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Information Management or in the mathematical field such as Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or related field is essential
Must have 8 years’ experience in business intelligence, data mining and analytics within the Human Capital environment
International experience in business intelligence, data mining and analytics within the Human Capital environment would be advantageous
Must be able to do Statistical modelling (scope / design / build and maintain models)
Must have good knowledge of data structures and how to integrate different data sources into relevant models
Must have experience in legislative and data governance requirements such as POPI or GDPR
Knowledge about Human Resource systems, software and related technologies would be beneficial
Experience in SAP Analytics Cloud is essential
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Designing, developing, and implementing an effective Human Capital analytical framework, dashboard, scorecards, and process to support current and future business reporting requirements.
Creating and maintaining foundational insights databases and provide support for ad hoc analytics.
Documenting guidelines and ‘rules’ of models to ensure consistency in implementation, build and house a knowledge base for greater effectiveness in specific Human Capital areas.
Providing predictive and prescriptive analytics and modelling to assist in identifying opportunities and risks within the Human Capital environment and delivering business value.
Proactively managing the updating and refining of models as well as the analysis following agreed timelines to ensure relevancy to meet the business needs.
Providing data driven insights and articulating data findings and trends in analytical management reporting (including graphs, charts and tables) and visual presentation formats, pertaining to:
Compiling and providing relevant and current Human Capital metric reporting packs for submission to key stakeholders.
Influencing the standard reporting framework to be applied for Human Capital reporting, to ensure consistency of reporting across the business.
Reviewing new report requests pertaining to Human Capital analytics, to ensure alignment with the Human Capital analytical framework.
Driving digital transformations in reporting and information analytics.
Providing active support to the business to enhance analytical reporting capability across the globe.
Supporting the leadership team to identify business challenges and use data analysis to help influence changes to operations, process or programs.
Facilitating synergy and co-ordination across the business with Human Capital, Finance, IT, and service providers to support Human Capital business reporting requirements.
Acting as the Human Capital subject matter expert on use of data to advance the use of complex analytical techniques and statistical thinking across the Human Capital community.
Actively building relationships and networks with business teams and line management.
Developing and maintaining appropriate analytical benchmarks with other organisations, working as the key representative to the external benchmarks and key surveys supporting Human Capital Shared Services Centre.
