A well-established mid-tier firm in the Garden Route is looking to employ an energetic Internal Audit Manager to form part of their dynamic internal audit team.

We are looking for confident all-rounders with an interest in nurturing and coaching young talent and developing business relationships. Successful candidates will be able to operate and lead effectively in a busy team, juggling multiple assignments, deadlines, and competing priorities.
The firm provides a wide range of services to clients including external audit, internal audit, accounting services, taxation, estate planning, and administration, company secretarial and payroll.
This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate that wants to relocate and establish themselves in the Garden Route. Thus, a candidate with the intention of a long-term commitment would be viewed favourably.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Managing and performing internal audit projects.
- Planning, assigning and supervising the daily activity and work of junior staff on other assignments.
- Staff development, coaching and on the job training.
- Manages client relationships and client assignments.
- Data extraction and manipulation for audit procedures.
- Keeping abreast of standards and regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified CIA and/or CA(SA).
- 5 years’ experience in auditing.
- Working knowledge of auditing software, Word and Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Advanced organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) (English and Afrikaans).
- Own vehicle, a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
Remuneration:
- R32,000 to R40,000 pm, depending on experience.
