Is a leading national Home Loan Origination business with its Head office in Cape Town. We are looking for an energetic, talented individual to join our Strategic Business Enablement Team.
The Role:
Responsible for creating new, modifying existing, and performing ad-hoc reporting in support of business processes and data-driven decision making. Developing a deep understanding of our business and building strong relationships with stakeholders by delivering value through data analysis and reporting and adapting to changing business needs.
Skills/Abilities
Traits you require for this position:
Strong Business Analyst skills (You cannot analyze what you do not understand. You must be as good or better about the business process and logic than business users)
Strong Data Analyzing skills (large stamina to look at numbers all day; week-after-week)
Technical skills (Data warehouse, data modelling, data mining, Microsoft, Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
The emphasis is on 1 and 2 as technical skills can be outsourced when necessary
Qualification and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, mathematics, economics, statistics, management, accounting or in a related field
2 to 3 years’ experience (Intermediate level) as a Business Information Analyst, preferably in the financial services industry.
