Job Summary

Duties of a Commercial underwriter include but are not limited to 1. Loading, rating and assessing new quotations, 2. loading of new business, 3. amendments to current policies, processing of renewals, retention on cancellations 4. assisting brokers with policy/underwriting enquiries via various contact mediums The Ideal Candidate • Must be able to fully speak, read and write in English & Afrikaans • Must be able to work in a very fast-paced environment and cope under pressure • Must be presentable and have good communication skills • Must have dedicated work from home space with sufficient and sustainable internet connection, as this position does include a word from home agreement Qualifications And Experience • RE & FAIS Qualifications • Experience in Short Term Insurance in the Commercial Underwriting/Quote space • Excellent computer literacy – MS Office etc.
