Occupational Health Staff Nurse
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Maintain professional working relationships
- Schedule & conduct pre-employment and periodic medical examinations
- Maintain administrative accuracy
- Identify and report on health matters, incidents, accidents and trends
- Equip the clinic to deal with all foreseeable medical emergencies
- Maintain legal compliance
- Administration and operation of efficient Occupational Health services, compliance with relevant Occupational Health legislation, the assessment of Occupational Health Risks and the implementation of Occupational Health Management Programs
- Coach staff on basic Health and Food Safety awareness
- Maintain a comprehensive Occupational Health Risk Matrix
Minimum Requirements:
- High quality of work standards and ethics
- Two years’ experience in an Occupational Health environment are required Computer literacy
- Registration as Enrolled Nurse with SANC, Certificates in Audiometry and Spirometry
This position requires the working of shifts on a rotational basis, ensuring 24/7 Clinic coverage
Shift times alter from week to week and include the working of night shifts and weekend work
