Our Client a well established Safari Lodge Company in Uganda is recruiting for a well qualified, experienced and motivated General Manager to manage one of their properties. The position would suit an individual who is looking for growth and a fresh challenge in the fast growing tourism sector in Uganda.
My Client would welcome Candidate applications from : Kenyan, Tanzanian , Zimbabwean, Mauritian and South African Nationals who have had previous work experience in East Africa. Candidates should have a proven track record of managing Safari Lodges.

The suitable candidate will be taking full responsibility for the property's day to day operations, budgets and profitability by effectively planning, leading, organising and controlling all aspects of strategy, marketing, budgets, finances, standards and maintenance.
To effectively manage the property, staff and everyday Lodge operations, to achieve optimal guest and stakeholder satisfaction, ensure compliance, maximization of financial performance, and working environment in accordance with the standard operating procedures, policies and quality standards of the Lodge in General.

15 years practical operational experience of which a minimum of 2-5 years has been General Management Safari Lodge / Hotel / Resort experience.
