Job Summary
Red Ember Recruitment is currently recruiting for a dynamic and experienced Digital Lead.
The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible to lead digital teams and activities including managing and maintaining the company's website, online content and all related digital properties/platforms and related functions within the organisation.
- Lead digital team and oversee all online, social media and digital activity
- Oversee all members of the digital team including social media coordinator
- Develop campaigns
- Planning, developing and implementing online content
- Contributing to the monthly content calendar
- Monitoring and driving adequate promotion of online elements
- Creation and planning of social media content for the social media channels
- Promoting website content
- Create and manage a weekly newsletter
- Content management: maintenance, updating daily/monthly content
- Proofread/copy-edit blogs
- Ensuring continuity and style
- Sharing best practice with bloggers
Qualifications and Competencies
- Degree or Diploma: Journalism/Media
- Minimum of 5 years digital and editorial experience
- Minimum of 2 years leading a related team
- Experience and good understanding of the fundamentals of online media, marketing and Ad-Network; including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, community management, content creation, video content and online reputation management and writing and editing for social media platforms
- Broad media knowledge
- Clear understanding of the sales and marketing process
- Understanding of current digital trends, online marketing concepts and best practice
- Driver’s License and own car essential
- PR/Ad Agency and Direct Client operations experience
