A Beach Bar on the strip of Camps Bay is currently looking for a dynamic, well experienced and professional Bar Manager to join their team. A Bar Manager who can maintain controls, as well as a positive and productive environment for the staff members.
The perfect candidate will have a hunger for ownership & responsibility and bring a unique dynamic to the business.
2-3 years Restaurant and/or Bar Management experience is required. Proven work experience as a Bar Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar role.
Implementation of SOP’s and controls continuously maintained and enhanced
Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Good time management, organisational skills and task orientated
Driver’s license with own transport is a necessity
Will include bar management, stock management and general restaurant administration.
Ensures compliance with all food & beverage policies, standards and procedures by training, supervising, follow-up and hands on management.
Manage the full operations of the bar, such as policies and procedures implemented, taking inventory and ordering supplies, managing budgets, setting and maintaining staff goals.
Closing and opening procedures as per company standard. Daily cash ups.
Control operational cost of sales and identify measures to cut waste. Detailed reporting on daily operations.
Creating effective schedules and quickly resolving conflicts to ensure that bar is correctly staffed during peak hours.
Liaising with clientele to ensure needs and standards are met, ensure quality of food and beverage, service levels and overall satisfaction.
