Job Summary

Our client in the Financial Services industry is seeking an experienced and mature Senior Financial Advisor / Planner to join their team in Port Elizabeth.

Requirements

Proven working experience as a Financial Adviser (minimum 8 – 10 years)
Track record of successful financial guidance
Ability to analyse market’s financial data and to provide appropriate data-based advice
Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to explain complex information clearly and simply
Excellent PC knowledge and ability to operate systems
Current certificate of qualifications
- Minimum RE5
- NQF5 or CFP

Responsibilities

Provide advice across a wide variety of financial products and/or services
Assess a client’s overall financial picture, understand their needs and develop a solid financial plan
Guide clients towards a suitable financial decision (close a sale)
Manage and grow client base and build long term relationships
Network, generate leads and take opportunities necessary to meet sales targets
Keep informed of new industry’s trends and research to offer sound financial advice
Oversee the course of the financial plan and update it, if necessary, to ensure the best and most up-to-date advice is given
Comply with all industry rules and regulations
Liaise with providers and other any other professionals necessary to ensure best advice
