Our client, based in Polokwane is looking for a successful Sales Consultant to cover the Limpopo region.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Sourcing of new business
Managing and achieving their Sales Budget monthly
Identifying and exploiting new market opportunities and products
Motivating resource allocations for any new opportunities
Developing effective relationships with new and current Key Account Customers
Monitoring competitor activity proactively
Presenting professional price proposals in writing to all customers
Ensuring all customer requirements and complaints are communicated appropriately and dealt with timeously
Communicating regularly with the Branch Manager regarding status of sales etc.
Interfacing with the Sales, Debtors, Warehouse and other Service teams in Gauteng
Ensuring that stock is managed effectively and that obsolescence costs are minimised
The successful candidate will be expected to meet the following criteria:
Be in possession of a marketing or sales qualification (Advantageous)
Have at least 1 – 2 years’ sales experience
Sales experience in a Manufacturing environment is advantageous
An understanding of the Plastics and/or Packaging industry would be an advantageous
Have a proven track record in sales
Experienced in hard selling and cold calling
An ability to see opportunities and grasp them
An ability to build relationships quickly and effectively
An ability to close deals efficiently and effectively.
An ability to prepare and manage budgets and targets
Computer Literacy (EXCEL, WORD, POWERPOINT)
A high need for achievement
Self-discipline and driven to succeed
