Job Summary
Our client based in Midrand is searching for a self-motivated Claims Administrator to join their team asap.
You need:
- Matric
- 3 - 5 Years Claims admin experience within commercial and personal lines and be able to work without supervision
- Some FAIS credits (preferable)
- PC Literate on MS Outlook and MS Office
- Good typing skills (accuracy and speed)
- Sound knowledge of insurance principles (preferable)
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Must have working experience at an insurer, insurance administrator or underwriting management company.
You will be responsible for:
- Action queries
- Action current day dairy notes
- Action all "in progress" and "outstanding" claims
- Processing supplier
- Liaising with clients and brokers
- Full function claims administration
- Registering new claims
- Appoint assessors
- Read assessors report
- make a decision on claim up to the payment of a claim
- Be even-tempered to deal with irate clients
- Excellent communication skills - English and Afrikaans (preferable) - written and verbal
- Good telephone etiquette
