The Credit Controlling department is a significant part of a well-managed business, since Credit Controlling reduces bad debts and improves our cash flow. As an Assistant manager [read: 2IC to Credit Manage] , you would be responsible for overseeing Dream’s incoming finances by controlling the payment processes, and ensuring that payments are received promptly and efficiently.
Supervising collections in a manner that ensures high customer satisfaction and loyalty; Whilst Creating procedures that ensure timely payments while maintaining a high level of customer retention.
Full function Credit Controlling:
Checking credit ratings with banks.
Determining whether or not to offer the credit
Setting up the terms and conditions according to each Clients ‘particular needs
Ensuring customers pay on time.
Will be dealing with individuals, not necessarily corporates
Preferably Credit Vetting exp
Needs to be dealing with a high volume of Afrikaans speaking “Friends of Dreams “
Sound command of Afrikaans
Industry / hospitality /rental / timeshare knowledge & exp
Strong relationship building skills
Fine telephone etiquette
PS – Our in-house system is not hugely user-friendly, but, could be mastered
