Main function will be to administer the training process for the Group
Ensure all Group Companies are registered with the correct SETA
Assess the workforce’s current skill levels and compare them with the skills required to meet future business objectives
Identify and assess current and future training and development needs and recommend appropriate solutions or courses to improve skills throughout the Company
Liaise with Managers with regards to training interventions that need to be scheduled (i.e. relevant product training; MS Excel training; MS Powerpoint training; Telephone etiquette, Irrigation training; Sales training; Syspro training; Finance training etc.)
Compile and coordinate a training schedule and advise Management accordingly
Ensure completion of training feedback documentation after each training intervention and provide feedback to relevant Management
Assess and analyse training feedback documentation with regards to employee progress and supply detail to relevant Manager and re-schedule if and when necessary
Ensure all new employees are equipped with all relevant needs and organize and schedule relevant training interventions
Ensure all new employees complete an induction course on relevant work processes before starting at the Branch
Assist with the compilation of training manuals & material
Find appropriate training courses to accommodate the required training needs
Use initiative to identify relevant training courses and share information with Management
Design and implement training plans
Managing of the training budget (monitor costs and keep programmes in accordance with budget)
Ensure quality assurance of training and development
Control of all schedules and processes as well as monitoring progress
Arrange and schedule staff training sessions, workshops and activities (book training venue and ensure they are properly set up)
Maintain training records (attendance registers; invoices and schedules)
Process employee requests for outside training while complying with policies and procedures
Update and maintain all training data and attendance registers on a database on a monthly basis
Create training certificates for all internal training completed and distribute to relevant Branches
