Job Summary

Design from start OR as per BOQ (tender).
• Drawings especially pipe routing & dimensioning;
AutoCAD - MAE; MVC; CA panel; checklist)
• Technical clarification with mechanical engineer & project engineering in Lubeck.
• Calculate installation, testing & commissioning rates with contractor & service.
• Do a site visit for quote to the customer where applicable - (offering phase). Attend site briefings
for tenders.
• Check customer order against the quote/offer.
• Variation orders to be completed and submitted to Client.
• Tender/offer (calculation tools) to be compiled but clarification regarding the products can be
requested from product manager.
• Interface with the customer and project team for technical clarification during the proposal phase
and during the project.
• Obtaining costs of materials, consumables, sub-contract work etc. where applicable necessary to
prepare quotations.

Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Professional registration with ECSA or equivalent body
+/- 3 years experience
