Job Summary
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Group IT Executive, the successful candidate will be:
- Required to plan, organise, control and coordinate IT projects within the Group
- Responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, and completion of projects aligned with company strategy
- Ensure that deadlines and budgets are met
Key Performance Areas:
- Project scoping, planning, controlling and implementation
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards for all projects
- Ensure adherence to Company, departmental and project governance processes and practices
- Project problem solving, decision making and risk management
- Contribute to the budgeting process and ensure adherence to budgets
- Develop and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships and ensure that outstanding service levels are achieved
Qualifications, Experience and Personal Attributes Required:
- Minimum NQF 4
- Minimum of 10 to 15 years’ experience in the IT industry
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in similar position
- Project Management qualification
- Excellent knowledge of project management software and methodologies
- Excellent knowledge of ERP systems
- Experience in managing system integration projects
- Customer driven
- Focus on excellence and getting it right first time
- Deadline driven
- Attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
