Job Summary
Our client is hiring a Finance Business Partner to join their finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as face of Finance and manage senior business relationships to enable Finance to add value to the business
- Working closely with the Business to deliver margin targets
- Analysing financial reports and providing advice to assist Sector MDs on financial decisions to support achievement of financial targets
- Diagnosing issues and identifying opportunities for creating added financial value within accounts, using monthly reporting
- Working in partnership with the Finance Group to deliver support and analysis to senior leaders on their financial position, as well as ensuring payments and invoices issued in a timely manner
- Working with clients to resolve any financial escalations or disputes
- Working as the interface with Group Commercial to ensure compliance in all commercial areas including new contracts
- Sourcing and evaluating data to provide insights and shape financial solutions
- Contributing to projects such as onboarding new clients, representing the Finance function
- Playing a lead role in major change initiatives and other projects, mobilising teams within Finance where required
- Providing advice to senior stakeholders on people issues and engage support from colleagues as appropriate
- Producing budgets and forecast positions, as well as supporting operational target setting and maintaining sales pipeline data
Competencies & Experience
- CA (SA)
- Minimum of 3 years cost and management accounting experience with a focus on sustainable margin delivery
- Experience in production and analysis of financial budgets and forecasts
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to create appropriate solutions by means of variance analysis and scenario modelling.
- Experience working in a BPO or contact centre environment (Desirable)
