This organisation is a market leader in ICT security, rendering its services to clients in the Financial Services space across Sub Saharan Africa. CF Consulting has been tasked with identifying a seasoned Business developer with over 5 years of Business Development experience, established network within the Banking Services Sector across Sub-Saharan Africa.

This position relates to the sale of security-related solutions/services to the retail banking sector within the business region. The successful incumbent will be responsible for turnover, sales and account management activities within assigned accounts or regions throughout Sub-Saharan Africa.
Present and profitably sell Banking security solutions/services to current and potential customers to meet set agreed targets
Meet and exceed set targets and customer expectations
Continuous monitoring of short-term sales demand through internal stakeholders and with the customer, ensure prompt action and execution where needed
Build and maintain a high level of engagements with customers, key decision-makers at both local and HQ leadership teams
Ensure regular customer meetings at all levels, defining actions with personal follow up
Effectively communicating any customer related issues to the right technical teams within the organisation and escalate where necessary
Develop product and market knowledge, seeking information regarding industry trends and ‘best in class’ practices
Understand and explain customer’s business models and key economic drivers and know about buying influences as well as buying processes for each Single Sales Opportunity
Take responsibility for detailed revenue forecasting and budgeting in a timely and accurate manner on a regular (monthly) basis
Accurately and comprehensively prepare a variety of status reports including, but not limited to activity, customer, monthly and budget reports
Set realistic qualitative and quantitative long-term targets and identify upside potential
Head the negotiation of customer contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), renegotiate contract renewals and extensions as required
