Our growing client is seeking to hire a National Sales Manager who will be responsible for supervising and organizing their sales team.
The successful incumbent will be in charge of managing organizational sales by developing business plans, meeting planned goals, and coordinating with the marketing department on lead generation. You will also be tasked with overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team by tracking sales goals, setting individual sales targets, and facilitate the ongoing training of our salespeople.
The incumbent must be able to work with the current compliment of three sales managers providing them with the necessary mentoring and guidance to grow in knowledge and direction towards a strong sales force within the organisation. A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is required. Previous experience in a sales-related role is essential, ideally in the plastics industry will be a benefit but not a must.
The role will be based in Gauteng, reporting to head office, travelling down to Natal fortnightly for meetings
