Your responsibilities will include the following:
Participating in project concept meetings to determine test requirements
Preparing test procedures, documentation, and test reports
Designing and writing software test code for automating functional and performance UI testing
Exploratory testing for individual components or features
Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs to resolution
Communicating and summarizing status to the project team
The following qualifications are required:
Dedication to product quality and test as a craft.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Technical diploma or University degree in a related discipline.
Previous industry experience in software testing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The following qualifications would be an asset:
Experience with test automation, software development, scripting
Exposure to open source testing tools such as RobotFramework, Python, Selenium, Sikuli, Appium
Mobile, embedded, or wireless device testing
Continuous integration systems such as TeamCity
Git workflow, commands, and tools such as SourceTree
Experience with UI and usability testing
Experience with web software testing
Chrome DevTools
iOS and Android device testing
Windows and Mac Operating Systems
