Our client in the New Germany area is recruiting for a Key Accounts Manager who has physically worked in a manufacturing environment.
Promote the maintenance of current business contracts and the establishment of new core business at OE Customers.
Develop Marketing Strategies respective to customers.
Ensure that company profitability requirements are met.
To monitor and report changes in the market with respect to Customers.
Ensure the smooth operation of the Marketing and Sales Liaison department whilst maintaining a high standard of quality, efficiency, and harmony to meet the customer requirements and implement agreed strategies based on the Strategic Business Plan.
Prepare tooling costs and component costing on customers RFQs for new projects and engineering changes to existing components/tooling.
Maintain current business.
Develop strategies to obtain new Core Business thereby maximising Market share.
Maintain sound relations with OE and international customers.
Negotiate prices to achieve agreed pricing targets.
To ensure customer documentation is timeously completed and returned.
Liaise between customers, licensors and various other divisions as directed.
To react upon the results of customer surveys (OE).
Monitoring and reporting on market trends /activities.
Negotiate the respective contracts pertaining to OE related business (supply, warranty, and license agreements).
Identify and disclose potential new market opportunities.
Ensure that all company Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality procedures are understood and applied within the Marketing Department.
Liaise between customers, suppliers, and various other divisions.
Marketing functions, which include but are not limited to customer liaison, margin monitoring and recovery, price negotiations, new business acquisition.
Tertiary qualification in Commerce
5 years related experience
Technical Engineering background will be an added advantage.
Plastic Injection moulding background will be an added advantage.
