Our client is recruiting for an Assistant Accountant for a 6 months fixed term contract, to assist the Production and Development unit managing funds and maintaining financial records.
Record all Projects Approved on the Film Fund Meetings.
Update Project Register Monthly.
Report on all closed and active project in a financial year.
Inspect nonmoving project and report on them.
Maintain the Production Accounts Email, register all recons received monthly.
Ensure that all documents are attached upon registering recons.
Swiftly address queries relating to non-compliance upon receiving recons.
Distribute Project Manual to Beneficiaries.
Attend Deal Memo Meetings.
Attend Project Status Meeting.
Prepare Cost Reports
Prepare all information for the Accountant to Report on Jobs Created & Project Leverage.
Assist in preparing monthly reports.
Assist Production and Development Unit on related adhoc duties.
Degree/ Diploma in Accounting.
2 years of relevant experience.
Understanding of the film industry
Knowledge of Accounting Packages (Sage)
Production coordination skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Tools (Excel)
Understanding of business processes
