4+ years’ experience of UX design experience, with at least some of this working in a B2C or C2C online business
Expertise in standard UX software such as Figma, Miro, Sketch, OmniGraffle, Axure, InVision, Adobe, Illustrator, Zeplin, UXPin, and Balsamiq is a must
Extensive experience in using user-centered design (UCD) best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
Extensive experience planning and conducting user research in a variety of formats and settings e.g., focus groups, surveys, and remote and in-person usability testing. Familiarity with tools such as UserZoom, UsabilityHub, HotJar, and Loop11, is expected. You should also understand A/B testing and rapid prototyping
Adept at handling and analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data
Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently
Ability to communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions clearly and effectively
Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies.
Fluency in English is a must. Bonus points if you can speak/write one of the more popular languages across Africa (e.g., French, Igbo)
Relevant Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution is a plus
