We are looking for a Production Controller for a leading Printing Media Factory, located in Paarden Eiland Cape Town.
CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Through a solid understanding of final output requirements, ensure that files are processed through predefined workflow stages and systems. Ensure that final files are print ready with respect to size, resolution, colour breakdown, image replacement etc.
Liase with, and act as the link between, the agency, printers, publications & media owners by maintaining regular contact and ensuring that communication flows effectively. Compile detailed Production Workflow reports and add value to the business by identifying client or agency needs and find solutions to meet those needs.
Follow work tickets meticulously and ensure that required material is supplied to printer, publications and media owners according to the brief supplied by client and Production / Traffic Managers.
