Our client specialises in web hosting and the IoT technology stack, from Connectivity to Cloud Services. They use a scalable, secure and proven platform to develop IoT products, greatly reducing the custom development required. So rather than doing everything yourself, our client saves you time and money. They will supply the IoT stack while leveraging their IP to build your product at a lower cost and reduced risk.
They are looking for an Angular Developer to join our successful team developing our bespoke internal systems. The system is comprised of a contact and content management system with intelligent matching, report generation, document generation, media management, task scheduler and portal feeds. You will be working on replacing the current desktop application with a new responsive application hosted on Azure App Service.
You will be comfortable working with API’s, both our internal REST API and other external API’s. You will be familiar with writing unit tests using the Angular framework. Excellent spoken and written English are required. You will be working with Visual Studio Code, Angular 10, TypeScript 3 etc. The successful candidate will be a quick learner with a can-do attitude and the ability to troubleshoot and find alternative solutions if needed.
Key skills required
• Undergraduate degree (at least 2:1) in a relevant discipline
• At least 3-5 years’ experience of front-end development in a commercial software environment
• Angular - 2 years or more commercial experience
• TypeScript 3
• TDD + OOP
• Experience with agile / Scrum software development processes and tools
• Fluent spoken / written English
• Flexible, proactive and enthusiastic attitude
