We are recruiting for a Junior IT Auditor who will work under general supervision, performs a limited variety of clerical duties for functional groups involving compiling and arranging data, making standard computations, processing and coding documents and maintaining records and files.
Permanent Cape Town and Sandton based role
Responsibilities
Qualification:
National Diploma in Internal Audit; Financial Information Systems or Information Technology.
OR
B Comm. (Information Systems)
CISA certification
Experience:
Minimum 1 - 2 years IT Audit experience in an Internal or External Audit environment.
Knowledge:
Understand and comply with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards on fieldwork.
Good knowledge of audit techniques.
Awareness of basic business processes.
Understand the importance of using technology to support the audit process.
Working knowledge of ACL or other data analysis tools.
Knowledge and Skills
Processing transactions and conduct simple calculations
Data collection and analysis
Record keeping, filing and maintenance of databases
Maintain work standards and quality verification
