Well known meat processing company, based in Cape Town has a vacancy for an Operations Manager. If you have solid, meat (cooked and uncooked) processing and management experience, are internally driven and enjoy problem solving, this could be a great opportunity. The roles will require the ability to maximise existing resources and innovate to improve current operations.

Requirements:

• Grade 12/relevant tertiary qualification
• Minimum 7 years Meat processing experience
• Minimum 4 years Operational Management experience
• Must have own car and valid drivers license

Duties:

• Achieve 100% of sales orders delivered
• Procure the required stock at the best prices
• Reduce stock losses to 0.5% of turnover,
• Improve and maximize efficiency (space utilization and machines)
• Improve and maximise staff productivity
• Reduce and minimize overheads
• Investigate and resolve security concerns
• Implement and maintain the Capital Asset Management programme
• Site Manager relief as and when required, for as long as needed
