Job Summary
Exciting opportunity exists within the Liquor Industry - this is a role for a Fully Vaccinated individual with a Finance or Accounting Degree and 10 years of diversified Finance Experience in FMCG/Liquor Industry. This role will be filled in line with my clients EE plan and preference will be given to African individuals who meet the criteria.
PURPOSE & SCOPE OF ROLE:
- Build a highly capable and efficient operating finance team in the market to support both the objectives of the function as well as meet the requirements of the business
- Provide functional support to ensure that the business can deliver against its commercial and financial commitments as well as proactively identify opportunities for improvement
- Support the EMEA Senior Finance director in delivering a high calibre finance function that can consistently meet the group’s requirements in a reliable and efficient manner
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree (Accounting / Finance or Business)
- Post Graduate Degree would be advantageous
- 10+ years of diversified finance experience, preferably including experience within a multinational consumer products business
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Finance Leadership – provide strong financial leadership to the business
- Financial Control –maintain an effective and robust system of internal controls
- Stewardship & Compliance – ensure the business meets all relevant requirements for financial and related filings
- Team Leadership – develop a strong Finance team and help individuals within the team develop their capabilities
- Decision Support – provide high-quality reporting and analysis to help the business make effective decisions
- Treasury – maintain appropriate financing arrangements which support the objectives of the business
- Systems and Processes – operate effective and efficient financial processes
- Reporting structure – responsible and accountable for the following functions
