B Com Accounting Honours with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including management
accounting, consolidations and technical accounting
• CA (SA) Preferable but not essential
• Self-starting with can-do attitude, confident and determined
• Attention to detail
• High standard of excellence
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline driven / work well under pressure
• Ability to:
o think analytically and problem solve effectively
o work autonomously and to be flexibly minded
o build strong collaborative relationships both internally and externally
o handle multiple priorities simultaneously
o use technology as a tool across the finance function for smarter decision-making
o demonstrate high integrity
o demonstrate strong commercial acumen
• Advanced practical knowledge of MS applications (particularly Excel) and accounting
applications (particularly Xero and Pastel) is required
