Job Summary
We have a Financial Manager position available at one of our clients in the Elandsfontein (Bapsfontein) area that will be responsible for overseeing the Company’s financial management and controls.
(Areas close to Bapsfontein: Irene, the Hills, Mooikloof, Elasduspark, Rietvleidam, kempton park)
Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years’ financial management experience;
- Excellent financial management and written communication skills;
- Proven track record of fulfilling the role of a Financial Manager;
- A minimum B Comm (Accounting) degree.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the company’s financial management and internal controls
- Provide financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plands and business drivers
- Ensure that the company’s financial sytems are robust, compliant and support the acurrent activities and future growth
- Develop and control the company’s annual operating budget to ensure that all financial targets are met
- Prepare the monthly management accounts
- Present the management accounts and annual financial stements to the board of directors
- Direct and control the financial management team
- Oversee the preparation of the company’s annual financial statements
- Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure an effective and efficient financial management system
- Develop financial and tax strategies
- Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
- Oversee the company’s transaction processing systems
- Oversee the external audit with the company’s auditors
