Degree or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Management or Commerce.
Minimum 5 years Procurement related experience.
Commercial Law or Contract Management knowledge an advantage.
Extensive SAP knowledge essential.
Advanced in computer software skills and cost analysis, e.g. Excel and Powerpoint is desirable.
Key Performance Areas: Reporting to the Category Head
Develop and execute the sourcing strategy.
Ensure delivery of best procurement value and mitigation of supply risks through the integrated involvement of all relevant stakeholders
Minimise total cost of ownership and drive cost saving for the business
Provide for continuous procurement process and system digitalisation through ensuring that the available system tools are applied, in order to improve efficiency of the procurement team
Ensure contract implementation and contract lifecycle management
Deliver commodity targets, report on commodity performance (savings, BEE, risk plans, payment terms, supply service levels) and ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
Conduct supplier evaluations and audits, in accordance with the annual plan, through actively engaging with the suppliers, to ensure that the approved suppliers are continuously meeting the business' requirements
Develop and maintain working relationships with business stakeholders
Providing a key point of contact, routinely assess stakeholder satisfaction and develop improvement opportunities
