DUTIES
Responsible for the rollout of Point of Sales System at Store level
Ensure that all staff are trained on the systems
Monitor the stock levels and calculate the Gross Profit on a weekly, monthly basis (currently Odessey has been rolled out to two stores)
Implementation and maintenance of inventory data in Pastel Evolution
Ensure that all internal inventory controls are maintained and implemented that quantity and costing of the inventory is accurate, and that inventory is not misstated
Maintenance of the inventory Masterfile and warehouse locations on pastel Evolution
Ensuring that IBT’s and warehouse transfers are correctly processed, and controls are adhered to
Ensure that the inventory costing relating to imported products and local products are accurate and the inventory is priced accordingl.
Ensuring that the bills of material are accurate and the cost of inventory is priced correctly
Responsible for controlling the pricing matrix on pastel and ensuring that the correct inventory discount level is used per custome.
Prepare Product costing and costing analysis and reporting and investigating all inventory variances on price and weigh.
Responsible for managing the minimum stock levels and ensuring that stock is ordered on time at the right price
Control stock wastage/theft
Ensure that stock shortages are investigated and reported on
Negotiation of discounts with suppliers.
Manage stock takes on a weekly/monthly basis at all the Stores and at Wholesalers
Reconciling the stock take on hand to the stock per the general ledger accoun.
Investigate and report on variances
Calculate the monthly gross profit achieved at all Stores
Review the income statement until gross profit level
Manage costing clerks/accountants, processing clerks, storeman and shipping department
