Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Manager.
Requirements:
- National Diploma or degree or B Tech in… Engineering:
- Civil
- Electrical
- Mechanical
- Or a related form of qualification.
- Matric certificate.
- Valid South African driver’s license.
- 5 or more years of engineering experience in maintenance, CRM and property management.
- Intermediate technical training in all Microsoft software and SAP knowledge.
- Excellent verbal communication.
KPAs:
- Drive timeout execution of effective maintenance strategies.
- Identify maintenance risks on properties and equipment.
- Implementation of effective Quality and Risk management system relevant to the clients’ needs.
- Ensure optimal utilization of available resources.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate maintenance work performed by technical staff.
- Identify gaps and deficiencies in services, advise solutions.
- Monitor contractor performances.
- Assist in the management of technical projects and provide technical support.
- Manage operations within allocated budget.
- Manage technical performances and facilitate improvements.
- Manage conflict within employees and corrective actions.
- Ensure adequate staff placement, manage staff shifts and approve any leave.
- Responsible for training, coaching, mentoring and development of technical staff.
