Job Summary
Purpose of this role:
- A Lead Business Analyst (BA) specializes in performing research and analysis to devise strategies for optimal business operations and services, ensuring efficiency and increased productivity and to ensure the organization stay abreast with industry trends and best practices.
- The role also includes ongoing training and development of team skill and competency to respond to the organization requirements to insure the business analyst capability can deliver to requirements and best practice to deliver projects successful to set objectives. insure
- Translating business specifications into effective and efficient operational systems by optimizing, improving, analyzing business processes, translating, and validating user requirements.
Lead BA is accountable for Business Analysis that includes:
- Eliciting requirements.
- Selecting the appropriate sections within the Business case / Functional specification templates to document the business requirement.
- Ensuring any changes to requirements are communicated effectively to all stakeholders.
- Ongoing training and development of team skill and competency to respond to the organization requirements to ensure the business analyst capability can deliver in using the available solutions to enable delivery to organization practices, standards and frameworks to requirements and best practice to deliver projects successful to set objectives; and
- Ensuring that all information documented is accurate and signed off by the applicable stakeholders.
- Be a key role player to ensure overall resource capacity management, client satisfaction and stakeholder engagement between BA team and various stakeholders across the Group.
- Lead BA will guide and encourage the team to reach goals and wellbeing, all while implementing the company and functional objectives, company's policies, and regulations.
- Drive overall BA team delivery and performance management to achieve Scorecard objectives and targets.
Operating Budget/Assets:
The budget management will be aligned to allocated cost as per the approved business cases in support of each project approved for BA resources in respect of time and cost.
Education and Experience:
Grade 12
3 Year Diploma IT/Computer Science - advantageous
Business Analysis Qualification
Advanced Business Analysis Diploma/ Certification
Agile Certification
IIBA Membership - advantageous
Experience Required:
- 2 years plus management experience in leading a Business Analysts
- 7years plus experience spanning in business analysis and process reengineering across various projects types
- 3 year plus agile experience in BA function
Knowledge and skills:
• Professionally liaise with all stakeholders (Project sponsors, Project executive owners and Busines stakeholders etc)to drive the remediation/resolution of project escalations
• Analytical skills
• Strong Verbal and/or written communication to multiple stakeholders
Strong priority on stakeholders management and engagement management
Business understanding:
• Training in line with personal development plans and objectives and approved budgets
• Lead and drive the socialization of change impact across Group
• Collaboration - Relating and networking with various stakeholders
• Full understanding of operating model and various function across the Group
Operational excellence and risk management in respect of BA function as part of Enterprise Project Management Office
