Developing and maintaining financial management policies, procedures, processes, and systems to promote efficiency in the finance function
Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems and ensure compliance with appropriate accounting standards, regulatory and audit requirements
Continuously search for cost-saving initiatives that will support business growth and profitability
Develop, plan for, implement and take accountability for the strategy and operating model of the Finance function, in the execution of the Investments and Savings strategy

Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications:
Matric
BCom/BCom Honours
Qualified CA(SA)
Experience:
Articles completed within one of the Big 4 audit firms
Minimum 5 years post articles experience within the financial services sector
Through understanding of savings and investments sector
Exposure to the requirements of the new solvency assessment and management regulatory regime
Proficiency with IFRS and tax
