Job Summary
Our client, an investment holding company operating in the FMCG industry, is looking for a Financial Controller to join their team.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Manage the group tax function.
- Assist with the group automated consolidation processes.
- Assist in establishing and improving automated internal reporting on Qliksense (Business Intelligence reports).
- Assist with the budgeting processes.
- Analyse and report on financial data.
- Financial Management function/oversight for non-operating/commercial head office entities.
- Assist with the preparation of statutory and internal reporting documents and requirements.
- Ad-hoc assistance to the finance team, as required.
Knowledge and Experience Required:
- Chartered Accountant qualification (SA).
- 3 - 5 years post article experience.
- FMCG Industry is a prerequisite.
- Syspro and Qlikview experience advantageous.
Proven Knowledge, skills, and attitude:
- Good knowledge of manufacturing (preferably food / beverage industry).
- Deadline driven, and results orientated.
- Solid analytical and reporting abilities.
- Presentation and computer skills (MS Office / ERP System).
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Takes initiative.
- Good attention to detail.
- Trustworthy.
- Able to handle work pressure.
- Driver’s license and own transport.
Area: Plattekloof, Cape Town.
Market related salary offered.
