OVERALL PURPOSE
Reporting to the Group Head of Financial Reporting, the Financial Accounting Manager will be responsible for the effective management of a small, international team to ensure the accurate and timely month end close process for all entities in the Group. Included is the preparation/review and submission of VAT and tax calculations and the provision of financial information to business functions across the Group, enabling them to make budgeting and investments decisions.
PRINCIPAL ELEMENTS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
To ensure the production of high-quality financial outputs in a timely manner from the financial accounting team
O Bank reconciliations on a weekly and monthly basis to ensure that the cash records are correct
O Liaise with the accounts payable team to ensure that accruals and prepayments are booked correctly
O Liaise with the billing team to ensure that they have completed the billing, WIP accruals, bad debt provisions and income split journals for assigned Group entities
O Review of the monthly trend analysis for assigned Group entities
O Preparing the monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports
O Provide input into cash forecast for tax or other cash items
