The CKH Group is looking for energetic auditors to join the Cape Town office.
The candidates will report to the Audit Supervisor, based in the Cape Town office, and/or the Audit partner, based in the Atlanta office. The candidates will obtain exposure to auditing American companies under US GAAP as well as UK companies under FRS102. There will be opportunities to work on consulting engagements during off-peak seasons.
About the role:
Expectation:
Provide a broad range of fully integrated audit services for our global clients.
Plan and oversee annual and quarterly audits
Perform effective risk and control assessments
Complete audits on time and submit reports to auditing senior
Present audit findings and find ways to increase compliance and efficiency
Work directly, and develop relationships with, UK managers and partners
Experience:
Preparation of Financial Statements
Good understanding of IFRS or another accounting framework
Proven experience as an auditor, completed the SAICA training contract
In-depth understanding of auditing and control practices
Advantageous:
International exposure particularly auditing American or UK companies
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Accounting
Successful completion of external audit articles/learnership
6 months to 2 years’ post articles/learnership experience in auditing, accounting or consulting
Advantageous:
Qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA) / CPA equivalent

Computer skills:
Excel – above average
Fair understanding of an ERP system
