BComm qualification as a minimum, >5 years of experience in a management role as a minimum; previous experience in a similar role in the mining industry would be advantageous; SAICA / IRBA articles at a big 4 accounting firm would be advantageous; CA (SA) or CIMA qualification would be advantageous.
