You will need to enable our company to achieve its 2025 growth targets. Generating sales growth within the geography with a specific focus on "Project Purpose" projects that contributes to our achievement and customer sustainability goals of reducing consumption, effluent discharge and total cost of ownership on customer sites.
Required outputs: Functional
Reports to Head of Sales & Service Delivery on the achievement of sales goals;
Responsible for annual budgeting, meeting sales vs. budget expectations and growing the customer base year-on-year in terms of revenue and profit margins;
Creating and executing growth strategies that drive an integrated sales approach with the Service Delivery teams;
Leveraging our company's current footprint and domain expertise to drive and close Project Purpose and other strategic growth opportunities;
Delivering on strategic projects to implement new technologies and enable cost / efficiency improvements at customers;
Developing and maintaining key strategic customer relationships in the industry;
Developing business plans for strategic investment into pilot field trials as proof-of-concept;
Leveraging other company relationships where relevant in order to build strategic customer relationships;
Requirements Qualifications and expertise required (Must)
Degree or Diploma in commercial/business or technical field with > 5 years related experience in strategic business development;
A proven track record of related growth generation achievements;
Mining / Heavy industry / Process / Engineering expertise and related technical abilities / achievements;
Ownership of key strategic relationships in the industry;
Must have knowledge and experience in Water and Wastewater Treatment systems;
Must possess a high level of business acumen and understanding of financial management;
Above average computer skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
Must be in possession of a valid driver’s licence;
Travelling is required to execute the responsibilities of this role.
